MMI Wins the 2026 SAS Partner Award at SAS Innovate on Tour Singapore

Mitra Mandiri Informatika (MMI) has marked another important milestone on the regional stage. At SAS Innovate on Tour Singapore, held on 4 August 2026 at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, MMI was honored with the “2026 SAS Partner Award” in the Strategic Growth Partner – Pipeline Excellence in Risk & Fraud category.

The award is presented by SAS to strategic partners across the Asia Pacific region who have demonstrated strong, sustainable pipeline growth, particularly in Risk and Fraud solutions. For MMI, this recognition is a new milestone that reaffirms its position as the sole direct partner of SAS in Indonesia.

A Trip to Singapore: More Than Just a Conference

SAS Innovate on Tour Singapore 2026 brought together business leaders, technical practitioners, and SAS partners from across industries to discuss the latest developments in data and artificial intelligence (AI). The event featured a series of plenary sessions alongside four breakout tracks, Risk Management, Fraud & AML, Public Sector, and Insurance, with speakers from leading financial institutions such as UOB, DBS, OCBC, and Standard Chartered, as well as government bodies including GovTech Singapore.

For the MMI team who attended in person, the trip carried several important meanings:

Learning and staying current. Sessions such as the SAS Vision Keynote and the unveiling of SAS AI Navigator gave the MMI team an up-to-date view of where SAS Viya is headed, from agentic AI and digital twins to increasingly mature AI governance. Staying current on these developments is essential for MMI to keep delivering relevant solutions to clients in Indonesia.

Strengthening Anti Financial Crime Solution, Anti Money Laundering and IBSM delivery capabilities. These two solution pillars form the foundation of client trust in MMI. FRAML (Fraud & Anti-Money Laundering) helps financial institutions detect and prevent fraud and money laundering in real time, built on governed, explainable approaches. IBSM (covering IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Asset Liability Management, and Basel) supports banks and insurers in navigating increasingly complex financial reporting and risk management demands. Discussions in the Risk Management and Fraud & AML breakout tracks offered fresh perspectives that MMI can bring back to its client engagements.

Building and strengthening ties with SAS Singapore. Attending in person opened the door to closer interaction with the SAS regional team, including leadership overseeing partnerships across Asia Pacific. This relationship is an important asset as MMI continues to deepen its strategic collaboration with SAS going forward.
